We are seeking an experienced UK Health & Safety Lead to oversee and manage health and safety across their UK operations. This important role covers two manufacturing and distribution sites, along with their Head Office. The position is based in Stoke-on-Trent with frequent travel to their Lake District site.A Little Bit About the RoleDevelop, implement, and maintain effective Health & Safety Management SystemsConduct risk assessments and investigate incidents and near missesEnsure compliance with UK health and safety legislation and industry standardsManage health and safety claimsPromote a positive health and safety culture throughout the organisationDeliver training and guidance to management teams and employeesMonitor and report health and safety performance using KPIs and auditsManage contractors and suppliers to ensure safety complianceOversee emergency procedures and preparednessPrepare reports and updates for the Board and Leadership TeamLead health and safety aspects of ethical and social auditsProvide expert advice and support across the businessYou will be supported by on-site Health & Safety Managers who report directly to you.
