Job Description:Robert Half Accountancy and Finance is seeking a Management Accountant to join a highly successful manufacturing business based in North Leeds. Reporting to the head of Finance, you will be tasked with overseeing the financial operations for the site. If you're ready to champion strong financial leadership, deliver accurate insights, and help shape strategic business decisions, this is your opportunity to make an impact.What You'll Do:
  • Lead and inspire a small finance team
  • Manage vital accounting functions-accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, general ledger, and financial analysis.
  • Deliver high-quality management accounts and analysis within strict deadlines.
  • Collaborate on financial audits and identify continuous improvements to systems and processes.
What We're Looking For:
  • CIMA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in manufacturing finance (highly desirable).
  • Strong skills in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formula-driven reports).
  • Proven experience in a similar management role
  • Manufacturing sector experience is desirable, yet not essential
  • A proactive, self-starting approach and a team player.
