You’ll work hand-in-hand with teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals to put effective strategies in place, helping the child succeed both socially and academically.Every day, you’ll help build confidence, encourage positive choices, and be a steady, trusted presence in their school life.Key Responsibilities:Provide one-to-one behavioural and emotional support to a specific pupilHelp implement and adapt behaviour intervention plansSupport emotional regulation and promote positive social interactionsWork closely with teachers, SEN staff, and parents/carersCreate a safe, consistent, and structured environment where the child can flourishAbout You:Experience working with children with behavioural or emotional needs (essential)Calm, patient, and resilient in the face of challenging behaviourSkilled in building trust and using positive behaviour approachesReady to take the next step? All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
