Our client is looking for a dedicated and vigilant CCTV Operator to provide a professional monitoring service. - Operate CCTV equipment and cameras with skill and compliance to the code of practise.
- Proactively monitor events in the Council's CCTV control room, taking immediate action when needed.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments, police, and the public, ensuring vital information is shared.
- Record all incidents accurately and maintain detailed records, ensuring they meet evidential standards.
- Conduct equipment checks and report any defects to maintain operational integrity.
- Manage the Town Centre Traffic Management System, controlling barriers as required.
- Uphold security measures in the control room, ensuring access is strictly monitored.
- Experience in a CCTV environment and working under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A commitment to professional development, with Control Room Operator Training being a plus.
- Ability to work a rotating 24-hour shift pattern, including weekends and bank holidays.
