Operate 24/7/365Location: 33 Grosvenor Place, London, SW1X 7HYContract: PermanentWhat are we looking for?Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit a Control Room Operator to join our Protective Services Department.The control room operator will also assist in coordinating CCL’s response to an emergency. In this capacity they will also support the response teams for the various emergency code calls (First response) teams.The control room operator is responsible for the operational and technical and administrative functions of the Protective Services Department when on duty. Our Mission, ‘Caring for life, researching for health, and educating those who serve’, assures our unwavering commitment to professional development.What will your duties include?Process incoming and outgoing communications in the Security Operations CenterMonitor PSIM, fire panels, access control, cameras and other equipment to provide vital information to dispatched respondersReceive and transmit all security and emergency information over multiple systems including two-way radio, Emergency management systems, Wi-Fi devices, Overhead PageCollaborate with Caregivers to ensure a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors and CaregiversLead projects associated with the strategic initiativesDevelop and prepare presentations to various audiencesEnsure the LSOC is operated and complies with legal and regulatory requirements such as CQC, joint commission and SIA licensing requirementsWhat we need from you?Valid SIA Public Space Surveillance (CCTV) license (Essential)Security NVQ’s (Essential)Control Room experience (Essential)Military or Police experience (Preferable)Valid SIA Door Supervisor (Preferable)Up to date Security experience within a corporate or healthcare background (Highly Preferable)Demonstrable operational experience responding to emergencies and incidents in line with an Emergency Operations Plan and Business Continuity Plan for a large organizations, preferably in a major city (Essential)Demonstrable experience using up to date technology and supporting the team of a 24/7 security operations center (LSOC) for regional requests relating to emergency management, investigations, access and egress control, badging, CCTV surveillance and linked third party management systems (Essential)Experienced and confident in emergency situations such as evacuations, disturbances & building lockdowns, with the ability to take operational control of first responders and by working within defined processes and procedures guide your team and the organization (Essential)Demonstrable experience in a demanding security operations environment (Essential)What can we offer you?As a private hospital with no shareholders, we reinvest all profits back into our organisation.
