The CT Department at the world renowned Addenbrooke's Hospital (Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust) is recruiting for a motivated Radiographer who wants to further their career as a permanent Band 6 CT Radiographer.You will be required to carry out a wide range of CT examinations, working as part of our motivated and enthusiastic CT team and as part of the multi-disciplinary team across the Trust.You will be required to rotate around all scanning locations, be flexible to work long days, where required, (totalling 37.5 hours per week) and participate in the out of hours service provision.You will have DCR (R) or a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography and proven participation in CPD and must have current HCPC Registration. Experience in cross-sectional imaging would be beneficial, however, full and comprehensive training will be provided.Main duties of the jobTo take an active part in the provision of our CT Service at CUH and our off site facilities at Sawston and Ely Community Diagnostic Centres, whilst maintaining the highest standards of CT Imaging and patient care at all times.The CT Department at CUH undertakes a wide range of scanning techniques some of which are not performed anywhere else in the country and in some research instances the world.
