Architectural Assistant (RIBA Part 1 & 2)£25,000-£30,000PermanentCheshire, North WestConrad Consulting are recruiting for an Architectural Assistant (RIBA Part 1 or 2) to join a busy Architectural studio in Cheshire.This Medium-sized studio works across a wide range of project types. There is an increasingly diverse project workload in the pipeline, as a new hire in the business you will gradually assume responsibility of these projects and be given the autonomy to be a real leader within the company.This practice has a local feel about it. Their team mostly live within 30 mins of the studio, and those that live slightly further away can be offered flexibility on working hours, etc. They provide Architectural services to repeat clients and new clients throughout Cheshire and the North-West region. Not only this, but with a growing reputation on a national scale, this practice have successfully delivered schemes across the UK and also internationally. Think Commercial & Leisure-sector projects, medium to large-scale.Their modern approach to working culture can be felt as soon as you walk through the door here. They have a smart, new office with free-parking on-site and a really enjoyable workspace and culture.Their current vacancy here would be best suited to an Architectural Assistant (RIBA Part 2); ideally at least 6-months year of practical experience working in UK-based Architectural practice. They can and will offer support with Part 3. They are continuing to implement REVIT as well as delivering some existing project work in AutoCAD.We would hope candidates meet the following criteria:
  • RIBA Part 1 or 2 qualification (We will accept applications from recently qualified Architects - With salary to match)
  • Minimum of 1 year of industry experience – UK based experience essential.
  • Well rounded construction knowledge.
  • Good interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate with internal and external teams.
  • AutoCAD skills are essential, REVIT is preferable as well but not essential.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office, Sketch-up and Photoshop are also a minimum requirement
  • Lives local to Stockport, Knutsford, Macclesfield, Wilmslow or in the South/East Cheshire region.
  • Full driving licence with access to a car.
