The roleRequired to start as soon as possible, the Governing Body of St Stephen's Catholic Primary School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic, energetic and caring Level 2 Teaching Assistant, to work within our successful and hard-working KS1 team. The successful candidate will be working with small groups within a class setting in addition to delivering learning programmes tailored to individual needs. This is a fixed term, 30 hours per week position, with an option of becoming permanent.We are looking for someone who will:
  • Will fully support the Catholic ethos of our school.
  • Has a nurturing, enthusiastic manner with good communication skills and is able to work with staff, parents and outside agencies confidently
  • Is calm and demonstrates good behaviour management
  • Works flexibly as part of a team and has a good sense of humour!
  • Has some experience of supporting children with SEND
  • Can adapt the curriculum for pupils under the direction of the class teacher
