  • Develop and Deliver Differentiated Lessons: Create engaging and accessible lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with a wide range of learning difficulties.
  • Assess and Track Progress: Regularly monitor student progress, using a variety of assessment methods to inform and adapt your teaching.
  • Create Individual Education Plans (IEPs): Work collaboratively with parents, support staff, and other professionals to create and implement effective and measurable IEPs.
  • Manage Classroom Support: Lead and direct teaching assistants and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.
  • Promote Inclusion: Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture where all students feel valued, respected, and confident in their abilities.
What We're Looking For
  • A Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Child DBS on update service.
  • Relevant experience teaching students with special educational needs.
  • A deep understanding of different learning difficulties and effective intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for special education.
