⏰ Start Date: ASAP / September 2025A welcoming primary school in Caterham is seeking a committed Year 5 Class Teacher to provide long-term cover. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher, or a confident ECT, who is looking for stability and the chance to make a real impact on pupils’ learning and progress.You’ll be leading a settled Year 5 class, delivering engaging lessons across the curriculum, and working closely with colleagues to ensure continuity and consistency for pupils during this period of cover.What We’re Looking For
  • A qualified teacher with UK QTS (or equivalent)
  • Experience teaching at Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5
  • Strong classroom management and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils
  • A teacher who can adapt quickly, follow planning, and contribute to the wider school community
  • Enthusiasm, reliability, and a genuine passion for teaching
Key Responsibilities
  • Full teaching responsibility for a Year 5 class
  • Delivering engaging lessons that inspire and challenge pupils
  • Supporting pupils with different abilities to achieve their best outcomes
  • Managing behaviour in line with school policies
  • Working collaboratively with the year group team and SLT
  • Attending staff meetings, planning sessions, and contributing to school life
