This is an exciting opportunity for a talented lawyer to work with a diverse client base and contribute to the continued success of this leading team.Position OverviewAs a Funds Senior Associate, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional legal services to the firm's clients, which include both new start-up managers and established international financial institutions. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of GP and LP side work, as well as secondaries, collaborating closely with the firm's international funds group and other specialist teams across the UK, Europe and beyond.ResponsibilitiesAdvise clients on fund formation, including private equity, credit, venture, real estate and infrastructure funds, as well as closed and open-ended structuresProvide LP-side advice on fund and co-investment investments, and secondariesDraft and negotiate legal documents related to fund formation and investmentCollaborate with the firm's international network and specialist teams to deliver comprehensive client solutionsDevelop and maintain strong client relationships, contributing to business development effortsRaise the profile of both you and the firm through thought leadership and industry engagementRequirementsQualified lawyer with a minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience gained at a leading law firmStrong focus on funds and investment managementExcellent drafting and negotiation skills, with the ability to provide practical, commercial adviceBroad experience in fund formation across various asset classes, LP-side advice and secondariesSound judgement, strong interpersonal and analytical skillsAbility to work effectively in a team and collaborate with colleagues across the firm's networkFor more information about this position, please get in touch with Matthew Makrinos.Email: matthew@rutherfordsearch.comPhone: 020 3137 3740
