We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We're problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.This role will be within our Water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.Want to be a part of it?What will you be doing?You'll be responsible for the procurement and management of sub-contractor applications and payments, as well as overseeing cash flow and aged debt reporting. The role is not simply about managing finances, but also involves working with a team of skilled professionals to ensure successful project outcomes.You'll be working within our Commercial Team, you will be playing a vital role in the success of our projects. You thrive on being a key player in managing the financial aspects of the Alliance framework. The purpose of this role is to ensure that all work completed is accurately valued and that improvements are made to enhance performance. This role would really suit somebody who is passionate about ensuring the profitability and success of projects.In this role, you will be part of a dedicated team, working on a variety of projects across the Alliance. You'll deal with the financial aspects of the projects, including cost reporting and cash flow management. Your day to day activities will include providing sound commercial advice and continuously monitoring project performance against the budgets set. What you'll bring
  • Previous experience with Quantity Surveying, preferably gained within Utilities and Civil Engineering Contracting
  • BSc in Commercial Management / Quantity Surveying or other related subject is desirable but not essential if you can demonstrate relevant experience within our sector
  • Sound understanding and previous experience of NEC contracts
  • Full driving licence
