We are looking for a medical secretary to join our secretarial team.The ideal candidate would be a proactive individual who can use their initiative. They will have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working with patients. The candidate will need to plan their own workloads and work without direct supervision.   • Actioning report requests
  • IGPR electronic reports
  • IGPR copies of medical records
  • Patient deductions
  • Actioning emails received

  • RSA II typing
  • GSCE grade C or above or equivalent including Maths and English
  • Medical Terminology/Secretarial Course

  • Medical secretary experience in a GP surgery setting
  • Experience working in the NHS
  • Proven IT Skills
  • Use of Systmone
  • Ability to plan own workloads and work without direct supervision
  • NHS e-Referral Service (e-RS)
