- Registered Nurse on the appropriate part of the NMC Register
- Specialist Community Public Health Nurse Qualification (HV / SN) or equivalent post graduate qualification
- Educated to masters' level or equivalent experience
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Highly developed specialist knowledge relevant to working with children and families underpinned by theory and experience
- Experienced health visitor or school nurse
- Experience in leading teams in the provision of health services to children, young people and families
- Nursing experience and training at an appropriate specialist nursing level
- Project management skills
- Change management skills
- Registered Nurse on the appropriate part of the NMC Register
