Band 4 Patient Pathway Coordinator (CAT 2 Ophthalmology)This is a part-time post for 22.5 hours per week.This is an exciting opportunity to join our Clinical Administration Team (CAT 2 Ophthalmology) as a Patient Pathway Coordinator (PPC).If you are a highly organised and driven individual who is passionate about patient care and embraces change, we have the role for you. Once fully trained we offer hybrid working as well; so working on-site and remotely at home.The post is based at Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading, where we provide a first-class, efficient, pro-active and patient-focused admin service.The successful applicant will be responsible for helping provide a smooth transition for patients as they move through their treatment pathway.For further information, please contact Lucy Floyd (Patient Pathway Manager) via lucy.floyd@royalberkshire.nhs.uk.Main duties of the jobWe are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and organized individual to provide specialist admin support to the Ophthalmology teams.You will need to be confident working within a team in a fast-paced environment and have excellent IT skills, be comfortable communicating with patients and colleagues at all levels and work quickly and accurately under pressure.You will be responsible and accountable for consistently and accurately carrying out your duties as well as the provision of a high quality and efficient service, providing this in a confident and courteous way to service users.About usReading sits on the river Thames and is served by great road and rail links to London, Oxford and Southampton.
