- Monthly payroll processing and submission of BACS
- Administering pension schemes and benefits including auto-enrolment
- Liaison with HMRC, auditors, and pension bodies
- Providing payroll reports, journals, and control account support
- Managing sickness and statutory pay, IR35, and leavers' pay
- Coordinating maternity pay plans, employee benefit schemes, and apprenticeships data
- Strong technical payroll expertise
- Up-to-date knowledge of RTI, PAYE, SMP/SSP, P11D, and pension schemes
- Confident use of payroll systems and Excel
- Experience managing payroll forecasts, reconciliations, and third-party payments
- A proactive mindset and people-focused approach
- £34,000-£36,000 per annum
