- Provide tailored support to students with various medical, emotional, and mental health challenges
- Assist in delivering therapeutic interventions, in partnership with healthcare professionals and teaching staff
- Offer both medical and emotional support to students during school hours, ensuring their well-being
- Manage daily care needs, including administering prescribed medication (following appropriate guidelines)
- Work closely with teachers to develop and implement personalised learning plans
- Support students in managing their health, emotional well-being, and coping strategies for various challenges
- Previous experience in a healthcare or educational support role, ideally within a clinical or SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) setting
- Knowledge of medical conditions and mental health challenges, and how they impact learning
- A caring, empathetic approach to supporting students with diverse needs
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with teachers, healthcare providers, and families
- A genuine passion for working as a Clinical Teaching Assistant
- Ability to commute to Huntingdon
