Key Duties (Including but not limited to):
  • Building strong working relationships with key day-to-day contacts across clients, consultants, brokers/EBCs and banks, and demonstrating visibility personally and on behalf of the Company.
  • Active ownership of quote process from initial receipt and review through to delivery and follow-up focusing on internal stakeholder management throughout and managing of governance processes. Supporting AVP, Client Solutions in triaging of opportunities, setting quote strategy and proposal of commercial terms.
  • Key role in executing on strategy for asset-intensive and longevity only reinsurance in the UK Pension Risk Transfer market.
  • Line management responsibility for Client Support Manager(s) responsible for development and wellbeing through managing workload, exposure to stretching tasks and building day-to-day responsibilities.
Qualifications required:
  • be a qualified actuary with relevant post qualified experience
Experience required:
  • have strong and relevant technical experience in life (re)insurance, life consultancy or pension brokerage/EBC
  • have a good understanding of the UK life insurance market and preferably knowledge of the pension risk transfer market (longevity only and asset-intensive) and UK pension schemes
  • be highly analytical, with strong interpersonal and organisational skills
