An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Nurse Specialist to join our Gynaecology team. This is a fixed term funded post, within our gynae services, and we are looking to recruit an experienced nurse into our friendly, expanding and evolving team. We are looking for someone who can develop and integrate this role into our fantastic services offered within Gynae and be an advocate for these women's health.We are looking to recruit an experienced, qualified nurse, that is currently practising as a nurse specialist, and undertaking the roles required for this vacancy. The ideal candidate will be a qualified nurse with NMC registration and be enthusiastic about women's health. Please speak to the Recruitment Team if you have any questions.Main duties of the jobThe post-holder will be an advanced nurse practitioner and will be responsible for the management of a defined caseload (patients/service-users), and will provide highly specialist nursing support, advice, education, and/or care, to that specific group. They will carry continuing responsibility for the assessment of care needs, the development, implementation, and evaluation of programmes of care, including setting of standards of care, and support in establishing evidence-based practice within Endometriosis.The Clinical Nurse Specialist will support the ongoing care needs of this cohort of women. They will manage expectations and support ongoing care needs and symptom control.
