This role defines and controls what consumers “see”, “feel” and “hear” about Samsung MX product & services within our Channel partners.The Omni Channel Marketing team for MX are responsible for leading the channel partner marketing relationships and end to end execution across all owned and paid touchpoints. Over 14 B2C accounts across Operators, MVNO’s Retailers, Distributors and Sim Free Pure Player channels encompassing paid ATL, retail high street, below the line retention initiatives and Contact Centre share of business. Our channel partner’s success in ranging, promoting and launching our MX portfolio is at the heart of what we do. By ensuring we commercialise our marketing, deliver execution leadership and drive innovation, we continue to defend our stronghold in the UK market.Role and ResponsibilitiesYour Key Responsibilities:Working with the channel account team (Account Director and Account Manager) to plan and complete multiple product launchesCompleting quarterly promotional plans ensuring a high share of voice is achieved, through various touch points of the channel customer journey (TTL)Deliver brand, commercial and channel objectives (with specific focus on sell out) with our agencies and channel partnersCollaboration on special projects and joint business plan initiatives, in conjunction with channels to drive longer term growth of SEUK channel performanceResponsible for budgeting and handling spend within channels, as well as effective management of marketing accruals, which are associated with channel commercial terms contractsDigital excellence using our Samsung Digital Blueprint, ensuring channels adhere to blueprint standards, and we continually evolve how we implement brilliant basics in digital touchpoints (including ongoing reporting and optimisation)Responsible for ensuring internal marketing processes are being followed, prior to committing any spendTimely delivery of reports including quarterly marketing plans, execution compliance & budget reviews & analysisAnalysing post-launch/campaign results ensuring findings & recommendations are shaping future activitiesTracking of competitor activities to ensure Samsung maintain strong SOV, execution leadership & unique points of difference across our channelsOrganise and attend weekly/monthly/quarterly marketing planning meetings with the channel partners where appropriate.What we need for this roleTo be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:Marketing background, ideally with a vendor in the same role or marketing role within a retailer/network operator/agencyMan management experience and strong leadershipBe able to demonstrate experience across the marketing mix – ATL& BTLStrong Powerpoint and Excel skillsCommercial ability to produce marketing plans, cases and return on investment on marketing spendFamiliar with handling significant marketing budgetsWhat does success look like?Passion for mobile, technology and innovation360 marketing experience, with a focus on digital (and clear understanding of digital marketing metrics)Experience of managing marketing budgetsAbility to seek out and build relationships with multiple internal and external partners in order to successfully deliver on key projectsBe able to multi-task and project manage large & sometimes complex activitiesBe a teammate with a can-do attitude & spiritStrong attention to detailStrong communicator with solid presentation skillsSkills and QualificationsBenefits of working at Samsung includeHybrid working – 3 days in the office and 2 days at home per weekBonus scheme linked to individual, team and company performanceCar allowancePension contributionThree volunteering days each yearHoliday - 25 days plus bank holidays and an additional day off for your birthdayAccess to discounts on a wide range of Samsung productsAccess to a discount shopping portalPartner Colleagues are not eligible for Samsung Enhanced Paid Sick Leave but may be eligible for statutory payments from their payroll agencyUp to 20 (pro-rata) Partner Absence days per calendar year to be used in times of needA note on equal opportunitiesWe are an equal-opportunity employer and value diversity at our Company.
