Experienced SEND Teaching Assistant – NewcastleWe’re looking for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming, community-focused school in Newcastle this September.This is a school where inclusion, respect, and high expectations are at the heart of everything they do. Supporting pupils across all Key Stages (KS1–KS4), the team works hard to create a safe, nurturing environment where every child is valued and encouraged to reach their potential.Your role will include:Providing targeted support for pupils with special educational needs, including learning, communication, and emotional regulationDelivering one-to-one and small group interventionsAssisting teachers with inclusive learning strategies across different age groupsHelping pupils build confidence, independence, and positive relationshipsWe’re looking for someone who:Has strong experience working with SEND across a range of age groupsBrings a calm, patient approach and genuine passion for making a differenceIs confident supporting pupils with a variety of needs, including SEMH and communication difficultiesCan commit to a full-time role from SeptemberThrive trained?
