You will be responsible for supervising whole classes of students, delivering pre-planned work, and maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.   • Experience working with young people, preferably in a school or educational setting.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • A strong understanding of classroom management techniques.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise students in the absence of their regular teacher.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and activities across various subjects.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a constructive learning environment.
  • Respond to student questions about process and procedures.
  • Encourage students to remain on task and focused on their work.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils in your care.
  • Collect completed work and return it to the appropriate teacher.
  • Report back to the relevant staff on student behaviour and any issues that arise.
  • Be a role model for students, upholding the school's values and ethos.
  • Assist with other duties as required, such as exam invigilation or break-time supervision.
