Working hours: Part Time circa 21 hours per weekDuration: PermanentLocation: GloucesterAbout the roleBenefact Group are looking for a Commercial Actuarial Manager - Life to join our Gloucester office on a part time basis.You will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of a growing niche life insurer. Working closely with the CEO, you will lead market research and evaluation of new business opportunities.   • A broad knowledge of investments, particularly in relation to life insurance strategies
  • Expert knowledge in Solvency II and the frameworks governing life insurers
  • Understanding of IFRS17 and other key metrics used by life insurers
  • Previous experience of managing projects and delivering board level insights
  • A keen interest in strategy and business development
