£39,000 rising to £43,000 once airside clearedWe are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our day-shift team. This role offers a stable Monday-Friday schedule, excellent earning potential, and opportunities to progress within a busy airport environment.What You'll Be Doing:
- Servicing, maintaining, and repairing airport vehicles
- MOT preparation, hydraulic maintenance & electrical fault finding
- Working on a wide range of trucks, including Mercedes, Volvo, Scania and more
- Supporting our East Midlands site when required (company vehicle provided)
- On-call 1 week in 9 (moving to 1 in 12 once fully staffed)
- Paid £80 per call out
- Call out runs Monday 4pm → following Monday 8am
- Minimum 5 years' HGV experience
- Apprenticeship-trained (preferred but not essential)
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrics, and diagnostics
- HGV licence not required for this day-shift role
- Starting salary £39,000 → rising to £43,000 after airside clearance
- Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm working hours
