  • 40-hour working week: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

Are you an experienced HGV Technician looking for a fresh challenge with a long-established and reputable commercial vehicle group?Our client, a leading Commercial Vehicle Dealer, is currently seeking a qualified HGV Technician to join their busy site in the Birmingham area. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established team and work on a wide variety of vehicles.What's in it for you as an HGV Technician?
  • £22 per hour + Paid Overtime
  • 40-hour working week: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

Duties of an HGV Technician:
  • Diagnose and rectify vehicle faults using diagnostic tools and manufacturer software
  • Complete service sheets and job cards in line with warranty and company processes
  • Work to manufacturer and industry standards ensuring all work is completed efficiently and safely
  • Routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a variety of HGVs and LCVs
What we are looking for in the HGV Technician
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Technician in a commercial vehicle environment
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance is essential
  • HGV licence preferred but not essential
  • Strong diagnostics and fault-finding skills
  • Ability to work well within a team and under your own initiative
