- Conducting full examinations of vehicles, including electronic vehicle health checks
- Identifying non-routine defects and faults in the workshop or during road tests
- Undertaking timely repair and servicing of customer vehicles in line with technical standards
- Providing knowledgeable, courteous, responsive, and efficient service to colleagues and customers
- Working closely with the front of house service team to keep them informed on vehicle progress
- Discussing technical issues directly with customers when required
- Offering technical advice and support to workshop apprentices
- Working with the wider workshop team to design and implement new methods to improve efficiency
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, ideally within a main dealer environment
- Ability to work within defined processes and promote best practice
- Customer-focused with clear communication skills
- First-time fix mentality with commitment to continuous learning
- Team player, able to support and mentor apprentices
- MOT Licence desirable but not essential
- Full UK Driving Licence required
