Ideally you will be a proven professional in the natural or built asset environment coming from either an organisation which owns, operates, or manages assets, or a consulting organisation, with demonstrable experience of what it takes to grow a business and build lasting client relationships. You will be a problem solver and output thinking individual, who can understand clients' business needs and provide impactful solutions. You will also have the following key skills and expertise: Demonstrable track record of leading asset management or management consulting projects in a relevant sector (Infrastructure, Transportation, Water, Energy, Utilities, Defence, etc.). Being considered a thought leader in one or more phases of the asset lifecycle (strategy and planning, design and build, operations and maintenance, or decommissioning), and in particular to one or more of the following services: Asset management operating model design & transformation programmes ISO 55001 aligned asset management system development Regulatory business planning and adaptive planning Asset portfolio investment prioritisation & optimisation Benefit-led prioritisation of asset management improvements, innovation and business change programmes Operational efficiency improvement Asset information and data maturity improvement Significant experience in business development, bidding and securing sales in a consulting environment. A strong understanding of how management consulting projects are typically delivered - from project start & mobilisation, through to delivering clients requirements and expectations. Exceptional communication skills with experience of developing and maintaining client and stakeholder relationships up to senior levels (ideally including Board/Exec level stakeholders). Excellent team leadership, collaboration and commercial management skills. Demonstrable ability to understand and assess business problems and build and communicate practical improvement recommendations.
