Salary: £30,000 – £31,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm | Alternate Saturdays, 8:00am – 12:00amWe’re looking for someone who is customer-focused, conscientious, and a great communicator, with solid knowledge of construction products.Key responsibilities:Serve customers face-to-face and over the phone with professionalism and efficiencyOffer product advice and guidance, using your expertise to support customers and colleaguesDrive sales through linked selling, promotional campaigns, and effective follow-upsPrepare and price enquiries and quotations quickly to maximise orders and marginsProcess customer orders, liaising with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth deliveryMaintain accurate knowledge of products, technology, and industry regulationsHandle customer complaints appropriately and ensure excellent aftersales serviceWhat we’re looking for:Experience in a customer-facing sales role (builders merchants or construction products experience preferred but not essential)Good product knowledge in the construction industryTelephone sales experience and confident communication skillsIf you’re passionate about sales, enjoy building strong customer relationships, and have a solid understanding of construction products, we’d love to hear from you.Simon Acres Recruitment are acting as the employment agency for this vacancy.
