Job Description:Company OverviewRobert Half is delighted to be supporting a well-established organisation based in Leamington Spa, currently seeking a Temporary Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. This is a key support role during a busy period involving year-end close and audit preparation.Role OverviewAs a Temporary Accounts Assistant, you will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy of the company's financial records, with a primary focus on bank reconciliations and supporting the finance team through year-end processes and audit.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform daily and monthly bank reconciliations across multiple accountsAssist in the preparation and review of year-end schedules and supporting documentationReconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variancesSupport the finance team in audit preparation, including pulling reports and gathering documentationAssist with other transactional finance tasks as required (e.g. accounts payable/receivable)Maintain accurate records in accordance with company and audit standardsLiaise with internal stakeholders to resolve queries and discrepanciesRequirementsPrevious experience in a similar Accounts Assistant or Finance Support roleStrong attention to detail and proven reconciliation skillsConfident using Excel and financial systemsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlinesStrong communication skills and team-player mentalityAvailability to work full-time, on-site 5 days per week initially, with 1 day WFH after trainingDuration & Working Arrangement3-month initial contract, with the potential for extension depending on business needsBased on-site in Leamington Spa, with the option to work from home 1 day per week following a successful training periodRobert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
