Senior Service LeadDunfermline39 hours per week£28,225.94 per annumWe are looking for a Senior Service Lead to join our friendly and welcoming team in Dunfermline. You’ll have a really rewarding role working with a great team of people. We deliver creative, dynamic and person centred services providing a range of individualised support to our service users.The RoleThe Senior Service Lead will report directly to the Registered Locality Manager and will work closely with other senior team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality support services. This comprehensive role requires a compassionate and experienced leader; the role is essential to the continuous improvement and effective operation of our services. We aim to provide the best possible person centred support to adults with autism and learning difficulties while fostering a supportive and professional environment for our staffIt is important that you uphold and implement our values, policies and procedures and are a positive role model for the staff team. You will regularly conduct supervisions and appraisals to monitor performance, provide feedback, and support professional growth. You will ensure the team are up to date on all required training and registrations, assisting where needed to ensure we have a highly effective and well informed workforce.You will be required to conduct regular health and safety audits across services to promote a safe living and working environment. This will involve identifying and coordinating any required maintenance and auditing paperwork against high compliance standards. You will also work with our staff, service users and external parties to regularly review care plans; ensuring they are accurate and implementing changes where necessary, so they fully represent and promote the service users’ individual needs.Part of the role will also involve welcoming new employees into our service. You will greet potential candidates, conducting service tours to provide them with an understanding of the working environment and role expectations. Furthermore, you will facilitate detailed service-specific inductions for new starters, ensuring they are well-prepared and informed about their duties and the organisational culture.An enhanced Adult PVG application will be required for successful applicantsShift pattern:Shift work, including weekends.Qualifications and Experience
  • To be a registered member of the SSSC
  • Level 3 SVQ in health and social care
  • Significant experience in the social care sector
  • Leadership or mentoring experience
  • Applicants must be drivers with access to their own vehicle due to the large locality we cover
