We are now building on this strong culture and provision to become a leading provider of accessible higher education.THE ROLEThe successful candidate will be a member of the Admissions team and will be responsible for ensuring effective and timely service in the recruitment and admission of home applicants, in compliance with policies of the University and other relevant regulatory bodies. The successful candidate will work closely across all relevant functional areas of London and Birmingham Campuses, focused on London admissions, as well as agent-led recruitment for Wales, being able to support both during peak periods.The Admissions Officer will be required to liaise regularly with a range of colleagues including the Student Services teams and the Campus Operations Managers, and Campus Deans, to ensure smooth implementation of the admissions processes.The role will focus on supporting applicants in their journey from recruitment to enrolment. The post holder will be required to work independently and use initiative with self-motivation to meet deadlines.REQUIREMENTSYou should have:
  • Good level of general education
  • Previous administrative experience in a fast-paced education environment
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Evidence of paying attention to detail
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and plan workload
  • IT literacy, knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new packages
  • Ability to work as part of a team
