If so, we want to hear from you!We are working with a range of mainstream primary and secondary schools across Solihull and nearby areas who are seeking skilled and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support students across various key stages.Your Role as a Teaching AssistantAs a Teaching Assistant, you will support teaching staff in delivering high-quality lessons and provide targeted help to individual pupils and small groups. Your role will involve both academic and pastoral support, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Classroom Support: Assist the teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons.
- 1:1 & Group Work: Provide support to individual pupils or small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
- Inclusive Practice: Support pupils of all abilities and backgrounds, ensuring every child feels included.
- Progress Monitoring: Help track pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
- Classroom Management: Assist in promoting positive behaviour and maintaining a focused learning environment.
- General Assistance: Support with classroom setup, preparation of resources, and administrative tasks.
- Experience: Previous experience working with children in a school setting is essential.
- Qualifications: A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
- Flexibility: Able to adapt to different classroom settings and learning needs.
- Teamwork: A collaborative and proactive approach to working with teachers and school staff.
