Whether we're exploring ways to make motoring more sustainable, or pushing the boundaries of technology, innovation underpins everything we do.It's an exciting time to be part of the team, so what are you waiting for?How you'll play your partThis role is ideal for part-qualified candidates working towards a financial qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA, providing hands-on opportunities to apply and develop your knowledge.We're looking for someone who is positive and motivated, with a solid understanding of accounting principles. In this role, you'll support the financial reporting process and other Group Accounting activities.What you'll do:· You'll support the monthly group financial reporting process, using your attention to detail to ensure accurate and timely reporting· You'll also support the preparation of annual UK financial statements and act as a key contact during external audits, providing and coordinating audit evidence across teams· Applying your key communication skills, you'll provide accounting support to the Group Accounts Team and the wider finance department· You will assist with annual Corporation Tax computations and quarterly payment analysis· Preparing monthly reconciliations for balance sheet accounts within direct responsibility, you'll ensure that these are resolved in a timely, accurate manner.What you'll bring:· Proficient in Excel and other analytical tools, with the ability to interpret and manage large datasets· Strong communication with the confidence to collaborate effectively across both finance and non-finance teams· Excellent problem-solving abilities, applying accounting principles to resolve issues· Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement, always seeking smarter, more efficient ways of working· Familiarity with SAP and CCH software is desirableAt Mercedes-Benz, we operate with integrity and therefore you are required to maintain ethical standards in accordance with our polices and adhere to the Company's Compliance Guidelines and Policies including Anti-Bribery and all relevant competition law.What's in it for youAs well as the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, with a great team and culture, we'll offer you a competitive salary and discretionary bonus structure.
