- Own the communication & corporate affairs strategy for the function
- Define the operating model with clear roles and responsibilities to deliver efficiency and alignment
- Manage the communications governance within the function and into the broader organisation
- Partner with the Corporate Affairs and Communications team to represent the functional priorities as part of the broader communications plan
- Coach and mentor the senior team within the function to improve the effectiveness of their communications
- Approx. 10+ years Corporate Communications experience
- Strategic communications planning and execution
- Reputation tracking and management
- Communications coaching and training
- Stakeholder engagement, particularly with senior leaders in a business
- Strong business acumen and experience of operating within a leadership team outside core area of expertise
- Collaborative and visible approach to leadership which involves valuing and supporting learning and teamwork
