Remote (UK-based candidates only)Morson Talent are recruiting for an experienced Operations Team Lead to oversee complex remediation activity within a large-scale programme. This role will suit an individual with a strong background in customer remediation, insurance remediation, or PPI remediation, combined with proven experience in operational leadership and performance management.The Role
You will be responsible for leading a team of around 12-13 people across multiple workstreams. The focus will be on delivering high-quality remediation outcomes, managing operational MI, and ensuring the team remains engaged and motivated during a period of significant change.Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support remediation teams across complex case handling and operations
- Take ownership of performance management, resource planning, and delivery of KPIs
- Ensure effective use and interpretation of operational MI to drive improvements
- Provide hands-on leadership to keep teams engaged and aligned to objectives
- Oversee workload allocation across multiple remediation teams
- Act as a key point of escalation for complex issues and case completion
- Proven leadership experience within remediation operations (e.g. PPI, insurance, or customer remediation)
- Strong operational management background with experience of leading teams of 10+ people
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret and act on management information (MI)
- Track record of delivering results in fast-paced, changing environments
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage teams through change
- 6-month contract with the potential for extension
- Day rate: £350 - £400 (Inside IR35)
