OverviewAre you looking to kickstart your career in the insurance industry?WK Webster, a Gallagher Bassett company, is in search of a Case Assistant to support our Ports and Terminals team!This role allows for hands-on experience and potential growth into a case handler position.How you'll make an impactAs a Claims Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the team and ensuring smooth operations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
  • Entering and maintaining accurate data in case and document management systems
  • Registering new claims and uploading relevant documentation
  • Coordinating incoming documents and correspondence in line with internal protocols
  • Collaborating with the Accounts team to arrange timely payments and manage financial documentation
  • Preparing client reports and presentations using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Monitoring inboxes and assisting with general case administration
You'll receive detailed training in claims handling, gain hands-on experience by shadowing top-tier professionals, and have clear opportunities for growth into a claims handling role!
About You
  • You’re an organised individual with excellent time management skills
  • You’ll be able to communicate effectively via email and phone correspondence
  • You can demonstrate proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • You work well independently and as part of a team
  • You have attention to detail and can effectively focus on tasks in a fast-paced environment
