A leading manufacturer of high-quality plastic products is looking for an experienced Plastic Fabricator to join their busy production team. From bespoke one-off items to large-scale production runs, this company is known for precision, reliability, and exceptional craftsmanship.As a Plastic Fabricator, you'll play a key part in the production process responsible for fabricating, shaping, and assembling plastic components using a variety of machinery, tools, and fabrication techniques.£14-£15 per hour + Overtime | Training & Development | Day Shifts with Early Finish FridaysAs a Plastics Fabricator, your duties will include:
  • Measuring, cutting, bending, shaping, gluing, welding and assembling a range of plastic materials to precise specifications.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and work instructions.
  • Operating and maintaining workshop machinery including under-slung routers, line benders, saws and hand tools, and oven moulding equipment.
  • Finishing fabricated components to a high standard with attention to detail.
The ideal candidate will:
  • Have previous experience in plastic fabrication, working with acrylic, PVC, and polycarbonate
  • Be skilled in the use of fabrication machinery and hand tools.
  • Be able to read technical drawings and work to precise measurements.
  • Possess good problem-solving skills, with a high attention to detail.
