Maintenance EngineerMonday to Friday 7:30am - 3:00pm38k+Macclesfield/ StockportWe are excited to present a Maintenance Engineer to join a highly experienced team at our client's site in Macclesfield. The role focuses on performing planned, predictive, and reactive maintenance tasks across a wide variety of machinery, ensuring optimal performance of the plant in line with health, safety, and quality standards, while driving improvements across the site.
  • Respond quickly to unscheduled plant stoppages to minimize downtime.
  • Utilise system for recording labour, materials, and performing planned maintenance tasks.
  • Safely and efficiently repair plant equipment and services
  • Participate in maintaining the overall efficiency of the maintenance department, including tool management, housekeeping, and spare parts control
  • Work within budget guidelines and seek cost-reduction opportunities
  • Identify and pursue personal development and training opportunities
  • Share and implement best practices within a process driven industry.
Skills/Experience Required
  • A recognized engineering apprenticeship and formal electrical qualification such as 18th edition.
  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer in an industrial/ manufacturing industry.
  • Experience with industrial 3-phase motor control systems and PLCs. (Electrical bias)
