- Provide high-quality crisis intervention, advocacy and ongoing support to women experiencing domestic abuse, ensuring their voices are heard in safeguarding and care proceedings.
- Work closely with Family and Children's Services to embed early intervention and best practice in domestic abuse prevention.
- Deliver risk assessments, safety planning and support for women with complex and multiple needs.
- Support and advise women on their rights, options and access to housing, legal, health and welfare support.
- Raise awareness and upskill social care professionals on domestic abuse through casework and training.
- Actively participate in multi-agency meetings and contribute to safeguarding and MARAC processes.
- Experience of working with women affected by domestic violence and safeguarding procedures.
- Strong knowledge of the impact of domestic abuse on women, children and families.
- Proven ability in risk assessment, safety planning and partnership working.
- Excellent communication, advocacy and crisis management skills.
- Confidence in working collaboratively with social workers and other professionals.
