- CCST or equivalent/ Fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery FRCS (OMFS)
- Entry on Specialist register (or expected within 6/12

- Trained Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon
- Evidence of subspecialist training in skin cancer management and local skin MDT experience
- Research experience
- Demonstrated teaching experience
- Leadership qualification
- Experience in positions of responsibility eg editorial commitment, membership
- Proven team working
- Computer literate
- Evidence of management training or experience
- Attended advanced communications course
- Record of personal development
- Resident within 10 miles/30 minutes of Royal Lancaster Infirmary
- The post holder must be able to travel to all units within the network and to attend out of hours to see emergency patients
- Good general health and able to carry out the duties of the post.
- Valid occupational health passport
