- Providing general laboratory support to scientists, visitors and users.
- Liaising with the Health Physics Group.
- Reviewing the proposals requesting use of the Active Materials Laboratory.
- Providing advice and supporting the user community in the design, plan and performance of experiments.
- Contributing to the development of specialised sample environments, sample cells, methods and procedures to enable experiments.
- Developing your own research programme in active materials with synchrotron radiation in collaboration with Diamond scientific staff.
