With minimum visits of one hour, award winning paid training, and an excellent reputation, we are immensely proud of the quality of care we provide.The Welwyn & Hatfield office are now looking to recruit people who live in Borehamwood, Hatfield, Potter's Bar and Welwyn locations and we will where possible, work with your personal availability.We do require all staff work their agreed hours on alternate weekends - essential if you are working with us during the day.You must be passionate about what you do, with your own car - essential because we travel between clients and 'drive them to appointments' on a daily basis. You must also have a full UK Driving Licence.You must have the Right to Work in the UK and this will be established later during any recruitment process. We are currently NOT licenced to sponsor people and are unable to use people currently sponsored by other companies.Job DescriptionWe are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team in Welwyn Hatfield, United Kingdom. This role involves providing essential support to our clients during evening hours on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. As a Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals who require assistance with daily activities.
  • Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide medication reminders and support with prescribed treatments
  • Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary requirements are met
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Accompany clients to appointments or social activities when required
  • Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behaviour to supervisors
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and any incidents
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and follow established protocols
Benefits Include:
  • Hourly rates £12.00per hour (averaging £14.00 with benefits)
  • Higher rates for evenings and weekends.
  • Paid travel time between client visits (some restrictions apply)
  • Paid travel expenses £0.30 - £0.45/per mile.
  • Paid full rate when undertaking all training, in-house or e-learning
  • Minimum 1-hour visits.

  • Must reside locally and within our franchise area
  • Must be prepared to cover weekend working on alternate weekends

Additional InformationWe are also interested in Live-In care professionals and as a Live In Care Professional, you will be provided with 3 meals a day or an allowance from the client, a separate room to stay and access to a TV and WiFi.
