- Experience in marine surveying, terminal/refinery operations, bulk liquids, or similar industry.
- Supervisory experience or the ability to lead and mentor a small team.
- Knowledge of quality standards and compliance (ISO standards advantageous).
- IT skills, including moderate Excel and Word proficiency.
- Physically fit and able to access vessels, tanks, and operational sites safely.
- Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
- Conduct and/or supervise inspections and surveys, both onshore and offshor,e as required.
- Oversee laboratory analysis, ensuring reports are accurate, timely, and compliant with standards.
- Maintain equipment calibration, conduct job safety analyses, and uphold HSE standards.
- Liaise with clients, respond to queries, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate team workloads to deliver efficient operations.
- Train and mentor surveyors, supporting their development.
- Ensure field data and laboratory results are accurately recorded and translated into reports.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and report issues through the quality system.
- Support the Operations/Branch Manager with technical and operational duties as required.
