
Finance Assistant

- Temporary role to cover for approx. 10 weeks
- Hours 25-30 hours over 4 days or 5 days.
- Salary between £24,238 - £26,947 pro rata - depending on experience

- Monitoring the Finance inbox and addressing invoices and queries promptly.
- Ensuring invoices are processed correctly and authorised in line with procedures.
- Maintaining and reconciling supplier accounts.
- Creating new supplier accounts and processing invoices as required.
- Liaising with customers and suppliers to resolve payment queries.
- Building strong relationships with colleagues across the organisation.
- Prioritising your workload effectively and using your initiative to meet objectives.
- Upholding confidentiality and maintaining accurate records in line with policies.
- Promoting equal opportunity and diversity within the organisation.
- Experience**: Previous experience in a finance team or office environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines.
- A methodical approach with a focus on accuracy.
- Friendly, approachable, and able to work well in a team.
