Asbestos Surveyor and/or Analyst - MidlandsAre you interested in Asbestos? We have a great opportunity for a dedicated Asbestos Surveyor and/or Analyst to join our Environment & Safety Division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.We are looking for a reliable, flexible and committed Asbestos Surveyor and/or Analyst to join our Asbestos team. As a member of the team, it is key that you are able to work efficiently as part of a team, as well as independently. Help us to ensure the safety of the buildings around us by identifying, monitoring and overseeing all things asbestos.The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
  • Undertake air monitoring and 4 stage clearances in accordance with HSG248
  • Undertake management, refurbishment and demolition surveys in accordance with HSG264
  • Be required to embrace a varied client portfolio which includes the MOD estate
  • Assist clients with management recommendations and consultancy advice
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
  • Holds relevant asbestos qualification (BOHS P402, P403 & P404 as applicable)
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience carrying out the role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be able to work on own initiative
