Lead the strategic development and implementation of Health, Safety & Environment, initiatives across two manufacturing sites for a market-leading FMCG business, driving safety culture and sustainability whilst ensuring regulatory compliance.Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive HSE strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Ensure full compliance with UK Health & Safety legislation and act as primary regulatory contact
  • Lead Carbon reduction and Net Zero commitment initiatives
  • Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and implement mitigation measures
  • Design and deliver HSE training programs and foster safety culture across all levels
  • Drive environmental sustainability initiatives including waste reduction and energy efficiency
  • Provide leadership and development to direct reports
  • Prepare comprehensive EHS performance reports and communicate with stakeholders

  • NEBOSH National Diploma or equivalent
  • NEBOSH Environmental Management
  • CMIOSH membership or working towards (minimum Grad IOSH)
  • Proven senior EHS leadership experience in UK manufacturing
  • In-depth knowledge of UK EHS regulations and ISO standards (14001, 45001)
Desirable:
  • Advanced degree in Environmental Science or related field
  • NEBOSH Fire/L3 Fire Risk Assessor certification
