
Lead Document Controller

- Develop and document Document Control work instructions, work flows and procedures.
- Manage Document Control operations and the team of Document Controllers, both in-office and on-site.
- Serve as the primary contact for client queries related to Document Control, delegating tasks as needed.
- Resolve discrepancies and system issues, ensuring timely problem resolution.
- Collaborate daily with the Projects team and Document Controller team.
- Liaise with clients and external vendors to support documentation needs.
- Review and update technical documents, including manuals and workflows, with team input.
- Establish and maintain document workflows and approval processes.
- Conduct training and communicate documentation requirements to internal teams.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc project reports while seeking improvements in document management efficiency.
- Good people management skills & some relevant experience
- Ability to converse clearly & concisely with Senior Project Manager & the team
- Learn & self-manage online document platforms
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to organise own workload and use initiative and also to lead and support the Document Control team.
- Confident under pressure and able to handle multifaceted objectives.
- High level of organisation. Efficient with thorough methods of working.
- Have UK driving license to travel between sites and attending some client meetings may also be required.
