About the roleInvesting in place is a key cornerstone of Sport England's strategy, Uniting the Movement.Tackling inactivity is not easy and is made more challenging by the underlying inequalities that communities face.To create better conditions for people to be more active requires a shift in mindset, a more collaborative approach, and the coming together of key people and organisations in a place, all working with a common aim of supporting communities to move more.Sport England has allocated £25m to support these changes to happen in selected areas across the country. This includes £725k funding to enable Energise Me to expand our existing work and deliver our Place In Focus programme. This brand-new role will play a fundamental part in helping communities to move more in five priority places with higher levels of inactivity and inequality in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.About Energise MeEnergise Me is a charity working across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.
