This welcoming SEN school in South Birmingham is looking to add a SEN Teacher it team to teach small class of Key Stage 3 children with moderate learning needs including Autism and communication impairments. This school follows a primary model and welcome teachers from either a primary or secondary background. As a SEN Teacher at this school, you will be supported by an outstanding team of Teaching Assistants and have access to excellent facilities and resources.If you have previous experience teaching children with special educational needs and are looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a difference, this is the school for you. Join a supportive team delivering an outstanding education to children with additional learning needs. This role requires a SEN Teacher with QTS and is not suitable for an ECT.Job Role:
- Planning and delivering creative, differentiated lessons for children with a range of moderate learning needs.
- Teaching a small class of KS3 children, with support from skilled teaching assistants.
- Working closely with the wider school team to implement EHCP targets and individual learning plans.
- Creating a positive, inclusive classroom that supports communication, independence, and social development.
- Making learning fun, engaging and interactive for pupils the leadership believes that school should be a special place for every child.
