They are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Control Room Operator to join our team and help ensure the smooth operation of their production processes on a continental shift pattern.Job OverviewAs a Control Room Operator, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and controlling the flow of materials throughout our production facility. You will be responsible for overseeing complex systems, identifying potential issues, and collaborating with various teams to maintain optimal production efficiency. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities.Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor Material Flow: Continuously observe and analyse the flow of materials through various production stages using advanced control systems and software.
  • Data Recording and Analysis: Accurately record and maintain detailed logs of material data, production rates, and system parameters.
  • Issue Identification: Quickly identify and assess any blockages, anomalies, or potential problems in the production line.
  • Communication with Maintenance Teams: Effectively communicate issues, concerns, and status updates to maintenance personnel and other relevant departments.
  • Process Optimisation: Suggest and implement improvements to enhance production efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that production processes meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, promoting a safe working environment.
  • Equipment Monitoring: Keep track of equipment performance and schedule preventive maintenance when necessary.
  • Shift Handover: Provide comprehensive updates to incoming operators during shift changes.
  • Emergency Response: React promptly and appropriately to any alarms or emergency situations.
